| European Reference Conditions for Languages
The European reference for languages establishes the basis for comparison of language knowledge in Europe. This is especially important for study abroad as well as foreign internships as a means of assessing one's language abilities and being able to submit it to a third party so that they can readily understand and know what it means.
The conditions also offer the possibility for you to assess your own language ability on the basis of the respective level.
The European reference conditions are seperated in 6 levels, which are judged on: -Language usage -Listening and reading skills -Speaking -Writing
LevelA1 (Beginner) Level A2 (Basic knowledge)
Level B1 (Basic knowledge/Pre-Intermediate) Level B2 (Intermediate)
Level C1 (Upper Intermediate) Level C2 (Advanced/Native Speaker)
